Mekicevica and Friends

Mekicevica is nearly ready. She will go on the water Friday early morning.
During the past couple of weeks she has been indoors, getting the last touches along with other small boats.

Mekicevica and her new friends, all being fussed over by loving owners.

Let me introduce some of Mekicevica's new friends:
Next to her is Brut, a Midget 20 in very nice condition. Brut is a small long-keeler with an inboard engine and elegant, classic lines. For the length, these boats feel spacious inside, but they are heavy and therefore not easy to trailer.

Further down is Rigel, one of the Scharendijke locals. Beautiful wooden boat but according to the guys from the boat yard, she is always needing something done.

Rigel, great looks but a bit delicate and needing a lot of maintenance.

Across the shed, a line of brand new Najads looked like they were ignoring the small boats.

The posh crowd on the other side of the shed did not want to mingle with the rif-raf.
